Solaris

For those traversing the urban jungle by public transport, there is probably no logo more familiar than that of buses, trams and trolleybuses. The Solaris logo is already recognisable in 29 countries and has appeared on more than 12,000 vehicles since 1996, when production began in Bolechów.

Originally a family-owned company with 36 employees, today it is among the most innovative companies in the automotive industry and currently employs more than 2,300 people.

Also impressive is the company’s philosophy of action and the widely understood initiative taken for the benefit of people and animals in need, a manifestation of which is the establishment of the Green Dachshund Foundation. In addition, Solaris cares for its employees and their families by providing training and opening an on-site crèche.

In a relatively short time, the company has not only conquered the bus market in Poland, but has also become one of the largest suppliers in Germany.
